Nitze Lens Adapter Ring For Matte Box MB15AK - 77mm (N28-B77)
Nitze Lens Adapter Ring For Matte Box MB15AK - 77mm (N28-B77) | Pair a 77mm setup with the MB15AK
A matte-box setup is easier to plan when the ring size and matte-box model are clear from the start. This Nitze lens adapter ring is the 77mm version for the MB15AK matte box, giving you a specific ring to consider when putting those parts together. It suits filmmakers and camera operators building a setup around the MB15AK who need the 77mm option, rather than a ring in another size. Its strongest use is a straightforward one: matching the stated ring size to your setup and the stated matte-box model. The N28-B77 code also gives you a precise product reference when choosing or discussing the part. This is a small component, but getting the intended size and model right helps keep a matte-box build organised. It’s an adapter ring, not the matte box itself.
Specialist Note
A common mistake with matte-box rings is to focus on the box model and overlook the ring size; this one makes both parts of the choice explicit. The 77mm designation identifies the size variant, so match that to the requirement for your setup rather than assuming every ring for the MB15AK is the same. Its stated purpose is use with the MB15AK, which makes it relevant when assembling that particular matte-box setup. I’d point it out to someone who already knows they need the MB15AK and is choosing the 77mm ring. Just bear in mind that this listing is for the ring alone, not a complete matte-box kit.
