Novoflex Grote L-Bracket w/ Schaal Q System 185/225mm

Novoflex Grote L-Bracket w/ Schaal Q System 185/225mm | A large L-bracket with a clear size designation

The defining choice here is size: Novoflex names this as a large L-bracket and gives it the 185/225 mm designation. That makes it a product to consider when you’re specifically looking for a larger bracket, rather than simply browsing for a general camera grip. It suits photographers who already know they want an L-bracket and are comparing products by their stated size. The “Schaal Q System” wording is also part of the product name, so it’s worth keeping that exact name to hand when searching or discussing the bracket. I’d be careful not to read more into the numbers than the name tells us; use 185/225 mm as the product’s designation when comparing it with another option. The finish is black, a straightforward choice that keeps attention on the equipment it’s used with. This is a focused accessory, and its appeal is clearest if its size and named system match what you’re looking for.

Choosing this bracket

When you’re narrowing down L-brackets, start with the actual product identity rather than relying on a broad category label. Here, the useful identifiers are “Grote L-Bracket,” “Schaal Q System” and “185/225mm.” Together, they distinguish this Novoflex item from a basic grip listing and give you specific terms to use when comparing options. That’s helpful if you’ve been given a particular bracket name to find, or if you want to keep your search focused on a large L-bracket. I’d use the complete name when asking about it at the shop; the size figures and system wording are more useful than the generic phrase “camera grip.” There’s no need to dress this up as a universal solution. If a large L-bracket with this designation is what you have in mind, the product name gives you a precise starting point.

In short, this is a black Novoflex L-bracket identified as large and marked with the 185/225 mm designation. Those are the details to carry into your comparison.
