The Pentacon Auto 50mm f/1.8 MC is a well-known M42 mount standard lens, produced in the former East Germany. It features a fast f/1.8 maximum aperture for great low-light performance and shallow depth of field. The multi-coated optics reduce flare and improve contrast, making it well-suited for portraits, street photography, and vintage-style rendering.

Its smooth focus throw and compact metal construction make it a favorite among analog photographers and digital mirrorless users (via adapter). The bokeh is soft and pleasant, especially at wide apertures.

Used – Good condition
Lens is in good working order. Optics are clean — no haze, fungus, or scratches. Focus ring turns smoothly. Aperture blades are oil-free and respond correctly. Minor cosmetic wear on barrel, consistent with age.
