Permajet Artist Watercolour 250G Roll 17INCHES 15m

Permajet Artist Watercolour 250G Roll 17INCHES 15m | Watercolour paper in a long roll

It can be frustrating to find the paper type you want, then discover it’s only available in a format that doesn’t suit your print run. The Permajet Artist Watercolour 250G Roll is watercolour paper supplied as a roll, giving artists and printmakers a continuous length to work with rather than individual sheets. Its name makes it a relevant option for watercolour-style artwork, while the 250 g weight gives you a concrete figure to compare when choosing paper. The roll is 17 inches wide and 15 metres long, so it’s suited to people who are planning prints around that width and need a length of stock rather than a small pack of sheets. It’s a specific format, not a catch-all paper purchase; the width and roll length are the details to consider first.

Choosing the roll format

Before deciding, think about the prints you actually plan to make. The 17-inch width sets the available width of the roll, so it’s worth comparing that with the layouts you have in mind. The 15-metre length gives you a continuous supply to work from, which can make sense when you expect to produce more than a few prints. The 250 g figure is useful for comparing paper weights, while “Artist Watercolour” identifies the paper style this product is named for. Those details are the main reasons to consider this roll; they also make it easier to tell whether it matches a particular project. If your work needs a different width or you prefer paper sold as sheets, this isn’t the format to choose. For a planned print run that suits its size, the roll keeps the selection straightforward.
