Permajet Museum Heritage 310GSM 36INCHES 15m

Permajet Museum Heritage 310GSM 36INCHES 15m | Paper for large-format prints

Its defining details are the substantial 310gsm weight and generous sheet width, making this Permajet photo paper a format-led option for photographers and printmakers planning larger prints. The named Museum Heritage paper is supplied in a 36-inch width and 15-metre length, so it suits people who want to work from a continuous length rather than choose individual sheets. That can be useful when you’re planning prints to a particular size or need more than one print from the same paper supply. The weight is a concrete part of the choice: at 310gsm, this is a paper to consider when a heavier stock is what your print project calls for. One honest point: the product name gives you the size and weight, but those details alone can’t tell you how a particular image will look on the paper. Your intended print and preferred paper character still matter.

Choosing the format

Start by thinking about the largest print you expect to make, then consider how much paper you’ll use across the project. The 36-inch width gives you room to plan a broad print, while the 15-metre length provides material for a series of prints or a longer run. Those dimensions make this a considered purchase rather than a small pack for occasional test prints. If you already know the sizes you want to produce, compare them with the width before deciding how to lay out your work. The 310gsm figure is also useful when comparing paper by weight. It gives a clear point of reference, though it shouldn’t be treated as a description of surface appearance or print colour.

Permajet Museum Heritage 310GSM is listed here as photo paper. The name may appeal if you’re looking specifically for the Museum Heritage line, but the practical choice comes down to the stated weight and format, alongside the kind of prints you plan to make. For a project that needs a different width or a lighter paper, those are the details to compare first. For a large-format job where this size and weight suit your plan, the product name gives you the key measurements to work from. Keep those figures handy when estimating how much paper your prints will require.
