Permajet Parchment Classic 285 A3 50SH

Permajet Parchment Classic 285 A3 50SH | A3 paper for your next print project

When a print needs room to make an impression, choosing a smaller format can mean rethinking the whole layout. Permajet Parchment Classic 285 is photo paper in A3, supplied as 50 sheets, giving you a clear format and quantity to plan around. It suits photographers and printmakers preparing larger images, portfolio pieces or a run of prints, provided A3 fits the job they have in mind. The product name gives you the essentials to start planning; it doesn’t tell us how the paper will render a particular image, so I wouldn’t promise a specific look from the name alone. Think of this as a straightforward option when your project calls for A3 photo paper and you want 50 sheets available. Before committing images to a print run, decide which files and layouts merit the larger format.

Planning your print run

A little planning makes the A3 format easier to work with. Start by choosing the image or artwork, then consider how it will sit on the page: a tight crop, a border, or room around the image can change the feel of the finished print. Check your layout at the intended size before printing, so you can spot details that may need adjusting. The 50-sheet quantity also gives you a practical starting point for estimating a project: set aside sheets for the prints you want to make, and decide how many you’d like available for further work. That’s more helpful than treating a pack as an abstract number. If you’re preparing several different images, plan their order and layout first; it keeps the session focused and makes each sheet count.
