Permajet Photo Lustre - 310GSM 36inch 30m

Permajet Photo Lustre - 310GSM 36inch 30m | Lustre paper in a wide roll

For photo prints that need a wide roll format, Permajet Photo Lustre gives you a 36-inch-wide paper roll for your printing workflow. It’s aimed at photographers and printmakers making photo prints, especially when sheet paper isn’t the format they’re looking for. The product name identifies it as lustre photo paper, and the stated weight is 310gsm. You also get 30 metres of paper on the roll, so there’s a substantial length to plan a print run around. I’d look at this when the width and roll format suit the job you have in mind; those are the clearest reasons to choose it. The title alone doesn’t establish how it will behave with a particular printer or image, so I wouldn’t make a purchase decision on finish or output expectations beyond the details given here. It’s a specific format of photo paper, rather than a general-purpose paper description.

Choosing the roll format

The 36-inch width is the key practical detail if you’re considering larger photo work: it tells you the paper’s roll width, not the final printed image size. Your print layout and margins will affect the usable image area. The 30-metre length is helpful when you’re estimating how much paper a set of prints may take, though the number of prints will depend on their dimensions and how you arrange them. At 310gsm, the paper’s stated weight is clear, but that figure alone doesn’t describe the look of a finished print. In short, start with the dimensions of the work you want to produce and decide whether this roll’s width and length make sense for it. That’s a more grounded way to choose than assuming a paper name tells you everything about the final result.
