Permajet Smooth Gloss 280 A3 50SH

Permajet Smooth Gloss 280 A3 50SH | A polished finish for larger photo prints

The defining choice is the smooth gloss surface: it gives this photo paper a polished look for images you want to present as finished prints. Permajet Smooth Gloss 280 is in A3 format, with 50 sheets in the pack, making it suited to photographers who want to print larger photographs or prepare several copies of an image. Its appeal is the combination of a glossy appearance and a generous print area, without an elaborate finish to consider. It’s a straightforward option when the look of the paper matters alongside the image. One honest point: gloss is a distinct visual choice, and it won’t suit every photograph or every room. If you prefer a more subdued, non-glossy presentation, this isn’t the finish to reach for.

Choosing a glossy A3 paper

A larger print gives an image more room on the page, so it’s worth choosing a photograph that works well at that scale. Think about how the finished print will be viewed, too: a glossy surface has a different look from a matte one, and personal preference plays a part. This paper is aimed at people who already know they want that glossy presentation, rather than shoppers deciding between several surface styles.

Before printing a full set, try one image and see how the surface suits it. That small test can help you decide whether the finish fits the photograph and the way you plan to display it. You’ll also need a printer and print settings that support A3 paper; the paper format alone doesn’t determine what a particular printer can handle.
