PGYTECH U-Bolt Mount - fits tubes from 12.7 to 33 mm
A camera angle that shifts whenever a tube moves can spoil a fixed viewpoint. The PGYTECH U-Bolt Mount clamps an action camera or smartphone to compatible tubing, with a fit for diameters from 12.7 to 33 mm. Its rosette-style joint holds the angle in place, while a wing nut makes adjustments straightforward. Use it to position an action camera on a suitable tubular rail for a hands-free point of view, or secure a smartphone on a compatible tube for a stable framing position. The joint adjusts in two directions, so you can find a useful viewing angle rather than being limited to one line of movement. The aluminium-alloy construction keeps the mount light to carry while offering a durable body for regular setup and removal. A CapLock quick-release clamp is included for efficient mounting and removal.
Tube fit and adjustment
- For 12.7–33 mm tubes: The U-Bolt Mount is made to clamp around tubing in this diameter range. Two cushion blocks are supplied for the smaller and larger tube sizes.
- Two-way positioning: The mount adjusts in two directions, giving you more flexibility to set the camera's viewing angle around a tube-mounted position.
- Rosette joint: The rosette-style connection is intended to improve stability and security once you've set the angle. A single wing nut locks the adjustment.
- CapLock quick release: The included CapLock clamp supports quick mounting and removal, which is handy when you need to take the camera off the tube between uses.
- Aluminium-alloy body: The high-strength aluminium alloy keeps the mount portable while providing a durable structure. It measures 106 × 57 × 53 mm and weighs 208 g.

Can I mount a camera to a tube and still fine-tune its view? Yes: the U-Bolt Mount combines a tube clamp with a two-direction adjustment joint. I’d use it for a fixed action-camera viewpoint on a compatible tubular rail; the 12.7–33 mm fit range covers the tube sizes specified for this mount, and the supplied cushion blocks match the two size bands. For framing, adjust the joint in either direction and secure it with the single wing nut. It also accepts smartphones, which is useful when you want a phone held at a chosen angle. Just keep in mind that it needs a compatible tube for its mounting point.
