Radius Audio-Technica BP28L Nimbus Windshield
Radius Audio-Technica BP28L Nimbus Windshield | Made for BP28L wind protection
Made specifically for the Audio-Technica BP28L, the Radius Nimbus Windshield gives BP28L users a dedicated way to shield their microphone from wind. That specific pairing is what sets it apart from a general-purpose windshield: you can choose it for the microphone named in its title, rather than guessing whether a broader accessory will suit. It’s for people recording with a BP28L who need to manage wind during outdoor or location work, such as capturing speech outside. A windshield is intended to reduce wind interference at the microphone, helping keep a recording more usable when moving air is a concern. The practical point is straightforward: this is a focused accessory for a specific microphone, not a general solution for an assortment of models. If you use the BP28L and want a Nimbus windshield for it, this is the relevant Radius product to consider. Its appeal is that clear, named match; there’s no need to infer a wider fit from the product title.
Specialist Note
28 is part of the BP28L model name; in practice, that gives you a clear reference for choosing this Nimbus windshield for the microphone it names. “Nimbus” identifies the windshield variant, while “windshield” tells you its job: helping shield the mic from wind during recording. I’d consider it for BP28L users recording speech outdoors or gathering location sound where moving air could interfere. For the best result, use the windshield when wind is a concern rather than expecting it to change the microphone’s sound in every setting. Its specific pairing is also its limit: this is the option to consider for a BP28L, not a claim of broad microphone compatibility.
