Schneider-Kreuznach MPTV True-Streak Blue 1FOR 4x5.65
Schneider-Kreuznach MPTV True-Streak Blue 1FOR 4x5.65 | Add blue streaks to your image
Schneider-Kreuznach MPTV True-Streak Blue 1FOR 4x5.65 is a 4x5.65 color filter for creating a distinctive blue streak look. It suits filmmakers and image-makers who want a deliberate visual effect in the frame, rather than a neutral colour adjustment. The True-Streak Blue name makes its creative direction clear: use it when blue streaks are part of the look you’re building, such as in a stylised music video or a dramatic night scene. It’s a specialised effect filter, so the result is best treated as a conscious part of the image rather than an everyday correction. The 4x5.65 designation gives you a precise format to match when planning your filter setup. If you’re shaping a shot around the effect, consider the scene’s lighting and composition first, then decide where the blue streak belongs in the frame. That keeps the filter’s contribution purposeful, not incidental.
Specialist Note
For filmmakers framing neon signs, headlights or practical lamps as part of a stylised scene, this filter points the image toward a clear blue-streak effect. I’d use that look deliberately: compose the light source where you want the streak to read, then judge the frame with the effect in place. The 4x5.65 format is a useful detail when you’re organising a matching filter setup; it gives you a specific size to work around, rather than a vague product description. The 1FOR designation also helps distinguish this exact version when you’re selecting it. It’s a special-effect filter, not a general colour-balancing tool, so it makes most sense when that blue streak is part of the visual idea.
