Sirui Nightwalker Series 24 35&55mm T1.2 S35 M-Focus Cine Lens L-Mount Black | Three focal lengths for film

Sirui Nightwalker Series 24 35&55mm T1.2 S35 M-Focus Cine Lens L-Mount Black is a three-focal-length cinema lens kit with a fast T1.2 aperture. It’s built for filmmakers using an APS-C camera with a Leica L mount, especially those who want manual focus and a set of focal lengths for shaping a scene. The 24mm, 35mm and 55mm options cover wider compositions, natural-feeling mid shots and tighter framing without changing the kit’s visual character. T1.2 gives you more room to work when light is limited, and can help keep the background soft when your focus is placed carefully. This is a focused tool for video and filmmaking rather than a general-purpose stills lens set. Its appeal is the combination of three useful cinema focal lengths and a bright aperture, all designed around an APS-C image area.

Specialist Note

Filmmakers who move between room-wide scenes, dialogue and close portraits will get a lot from having 24mm, 35mm and 55mm together. On an APS-C L-mount body, their framing is roughly like 36mm, 52.5mm and 82.5mm on full frame, so you can plan those changes before you shoot. T1.2 is especially handy when you’re filming in dim interiors: open up to keep more light, then focus carefully by hand, as this is a manual-focus set. I’d use the 24mm for a wider location view and the 55mm for a more contained portrait. One point to bear in mind: the set is intended for APS-C, not full-frame coverage.
