The set brings together 35mm, 50mm and 75mm lenses for Sony E mount cameras, in a Full Frame format. Its 1.6x anamorphic squeeze records a horizontally compressed image, which needs to be desqueezed in your editing workflow for normal proportions. The Blue Flare version is aimed at filmmakers who want that named flare character as part of their visual style. With three focal lengths in one kit, it suits narrative work, music videos and commercial projects where you want to vary the framing while keeping an anamorphic approach. It’s especially useful when the shape and feel of the image matter as much as simply fitting the subject into the frame.

Specialist Note

For widescreen scenes where a crop would discard too much of the full-frame image, this set gives you extra horizontal view through anamorphic capture. The 1.6x squeeze needs desqueezing in your edit, so plan for that rather than judging the camera image as a finished frame. Its Full Frame format lets you use the full image area on a full-frame Sony E body; on a Sony APS-C body, the three focal lengths give angles of view roughly like 52.5mm, 75mm and 112.5mm. I’d use the 35mm for a room-setting shot, the 50mm for medium coverage and the 75mm for tighter dialogue framing.
