SmallHD Sunhood For Cine 13 Monitor
SmallHD Sunhood For Cine 13 Monitor | Shade the screen from stray light
Made specifically for the SmallHD Cine 13 monitor, this sunhood gives you a screen shade matched to the monitor named in its title. It suits camera operators and crew who need to view that monitor in bright surroundings, where light falling across the screen can make a clear view harder to maintain. It’s especially useful outdoors or near strong windows: position the hood to block light coming from the direction that’s washing across the display. That can make it easier to judge the image while you work, without changing the monitor itself. This is a focused accessory, rather than a general-purpose screen shade, so its appeal is clearest if you’re using the Cine 13. If your work is mainly in controlled, low-light spaces, you may have less reason to add one. The product name gives you the key pairing: SmallHD’s Cine 13 monitor.
Specialist Note
13 is the number that identifies the monitor this sunhood is intended for: the SmallHD Cine 13. In practice, that makes it a specific screen shade to consider for that monitor, rather than a generic hood. As a sunhood, its job is to help block light falling onto the display. I’d look at it for outdoor monitoring or a bright indoor set; position the hood between the screen and the light source so you can view the image with less stray light on the display. It suits crews working with the Cine 13 who regularly face those conditions. It won’t make the monitor itself brighter, so it’s best seen as help with viewing, not a change to the display.
