The included WR-06 wireless controller lets you trigger photo and video capture remotely, making it easier to shoot solo and keep your setup clean and efficient. Built for Accessories and Flexibility

With multiple 1/4"-20 threaded points and cold shoe mounts, the cage makes it simple to attach microphones, LED lights, tripods, external handles, and other essential accessories. The standard QD interface also works with SmallRig’s quick release ecosystem, including top handles and Arca-Swiss mounting plates.

For added convenience while moving between shots, the cage includes two sets of wrist and shoulder strap slots that support professional straps up to 1 mm in diameter. Soft V-shaped rubber on the phone clamp helps keep buttons protected from accidental presses.

Wireless Controller Operation

• Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power the controller on or off
• Open your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings and select “SmallRig WR-06” to pair
• A successful connection is confirmed when the device status shows connected
• Press the button once to start photo or video capture, depending on camera mode
• The controller powers down automatically after 5 minutes disconnected or 30 minutes of inactivity after pairing
• While charging, a steady red light indicates active charging and the green light turns off
• The red light switches off when charging is complete
