Tilta TA-XSH3-B Xeno Side Handle Nato - Black
Tilta TA-XSH3-B Xeno Side Handle Nato - Black | A side grip for compatible NATO setups
The defining choice here is the NATO side-handle format: it gives a camera setup a grip at the side, using a matching NATO attachment point rather than asking you to hold the body alone. This Tilta is a specialist accessory for operators who want a place to hold their setup while positioning or handling it. Its role is specific: it’s a side handle, not a tripod head or support on its own. That makes it worth considering when your camera support setup already uses a compatible NATO connection and you want a dedicated side grip alongside it. The black finish keeps the accessory visually understated on a dark rig. There are no extra claims to decode here; the appeal is the handle format and the NATO designation. If your setup doesn’t have a matching attachment point, this isn’t the part to start with.
Specialist Note
Operators moving between tripod-framed dialogue and short handheld shots are the people I’d point toward this side handle. The NATO designation matters in practice: you’ll need a matching NATO attachment point on your setup, so it’s best suited to a rig already built around that format. Once fitted to a compatible setup, the side grip gives you a place to hold it as you reposition or carry it between takes. The black finish is a low-key match for darker camera builds rather than a bright accent. One practical limit: it’s a handle accessory, not a tripod support by itself, so plan on using it alongside the support your shot requires.
