Tilta TK-IP-ND9-B Khronos Magnetic FSND 0.9 Filter For iPhone - Black
Tilta TK-IP-ND9-B Khronos Magnetic FSND 0.9 Filter For iPhone - Black | Control bright light for iPhone video
Bright light can make it difficult to keep the look you want in iPhone video: exposure choices get constrained just when you’d rather concentrate on the scene. The Tilta Khronos Magnetic FSND 0.9 filter reduces the light reaching the camera, giving you more room to manage exposure in bright conditions. It’s made for iPhone use and attaches magnetically, so you can add or remove the filter as your shooting situation changes. The 0.9 density makes this a specific light-reduction option rather than an adjustable filter, which suits people who want a defined level of light control for outdoor clips or other bright scenes. It’s worth choosing for that focused job, not as an all-purpose filter for every lighting condition. If you make video on an iPhone and want more control over exposure when the light is strong, this black Tilta filter gives you a straightforward way to add that control.
Specialist Note
For a bright midday clip on your iPhone, I’d consider the 0.9 density when you want to reduce incoming light and keep more say over the exposure. The magnetic attachment is handy if your routine moves between indoor and outdoor scenes: you can fit the filter when the light calls for it, then take it off when it doesn’t. I’d point this out to iPhone creators who film outside and want a simple, defined amount of light reduction rather than an adjustable setting. One honest limitation: 0.9 is a fixed density, so it won’t adapt itself as the light changes. It’s best suited to situations where that level is useful.
