Transcend 64GB CFast Card SATA3 MLC

Transcend 64GB CFast Card SATA3 MLC | Storage for CFast workflows

For a camera workflow built around CFast media, the Transcend 64GB CFast Card SATA3 MLC offers a clearly specified storage option: it’s a 64GB CFast card, with a SATA3 interface and MLC memory. Those details make it easier to compare with the media your equipment and workflow call for, without guessing at speed or recording time. It’s best suited to someone who already uses CFast and wants a card with its key type and capacity stated plainly. The honest point is that capacity alone can’t tell you how much footage you’ll fit; that depends on the files your camera creates. So this is a straightforward option to consider when the format and interface match your setup, rather than a card to choose on a performance promise.

When choosing storage, start with the media type your workflow is built around, then consider how much space you want available for a shoot or transfer. This card gives you a specific capacity to plan around, but your actual usable space and the number of files you can store will depend on the equipment and file sizes involved. If you’re comparing cards, the product name also makes the memory type explicit, which can help you distinguish it from cards described differently. There’s no need to read more into the listing than that: it’s a Transcend CFast card with the details named above, for a workflow that calls for those details. A sensible pick when those are the specifications you’re looking for.
