Urth 67mm Magnetic UV Filter Pro | UV filtration in a magnetic format

The Urth 67mm Magnetic UV Filter Pro is a 67mm UV filter in a magnetic format, for photographers using a compatible magnetic filter setup. It’s suited to outdoor and travel photography, where you may want UV filtration in front of your lens without choosing a different type of filter. The 67mm size gives you a specific filter diameter to match, while the magnetic design makes it relevant to a magnetic workflow. Use it when UV filtration is the job; it isn’t a substitute for a filter chosen to change exposure or create a special effect. If you’re building a filter setup around a lens that takes 67mm filters, this Urth model is a straightforward option to consider. Its appeal is focused: a clearly specified size, a magnetic format and UV filtering, without pretending to cover every filter need.

Specialist Note

Landscape photographers and travellers who shoot outdoors are the people I’d point towards this Urth. The 67mm designation gives you a precise size to match to your lens, so check that size against the filter your lens takes before building it into your setup. Its magnetic format makes sense if you already work with compatible magnetic filters; it won’t make the filter fit a different size by itself. For a walk through changing light, use it when you want UV filtration in place while you compose, rather than reaching for an exposure-changing filter. One useful limit to keep in mind: this is a UV filter, not a way to darken a bright scene.
