Urth 72mm Essentials Filter Kit Pro (UV CPL ND8 ND1000)
Urth 72mm Essentials Filter Kit Pro (UV CPL ND8 ND1000) | Shape light and reflections
For calmer water, controlled reflections and long exposures in daylight, the Urth 72mm Essentials Filter Kit Pro brings four filter types together in one set. Its 72mm size is the key detail: it’s made for a lens with a matching 72mm filter thread. The UV filter is useful when you want a filter in place without changing the look as much as a polariser or neutral-density filter. The CPL lets you manage reflections on surfaces such as water and glass, and can deepen the appearance of a blue sky. For longer exposures, ND8 reduces the light entering the lens; ND1000 gives you a much stronger reduction, making it easier to use a slower shutter in bright conditions. That range suits landscape photographers and anyone who wants more control over reflections or exposure time. The honest catch is that the 72mm size won’t directly fit a lens with a different filter thread.
Specialist Note
The 72mm diameter is the detail to match first: it needs to correspond to your lens’s filter thread, so you know the set is the right size before setting off. I’d use the CPL when reflections are distracting on a lake or shop window; rotate it while looking through the viewfinder to find the amount of reflection you want to keep. For a flowing-water look in daylight, the ND1000 gives you the stronger light reduction, while ND8 is the gentler option when you want a more modestly slower shutter. The four filter types give you different ways to shape a frame, but they’re all tied to that 72mm thread size. This set makes most sense if your lens already matches it.
