Urth 82mm Variable ND2 32 + CPL Filter Pro
Urth 82mm Variable ND2 32 + CPL Filter Pro | Control light and reflections
Urth 82mm Variable ND2 32 + CPL Filter Pro combines variable ND2–32 light reduction with a CPL polarising filter. It’s made for landscape photographers and video makers who want to manage bright light and reflected glare with one filter. The variable ND function lets you reduce the light reaching the lens, which can help you use a slower shutter for moving water or keep a wider aperture outdoors. The CPL function is useful for reducing reflections on water and glass, and can add definition to a blue sky when the angle is right. Together, those controls make sense for changing outdoor scenes where exposure and reflections can both affect the image. It’s also a practical option when you’d rather work with a single combined filter than swap between separate ND and polarising filters. The 82mm size is intended for lenses with a matching filter thread.
Specialist Note
Landscape photographers drawn to rivers, coastlines and reflective architecture will get the most from this combination; it also suits video makers working outdoors in bright conditions. On a lens with an 82mm filter thread, the size is straightforward to match. For flowing water, adjust the variable ND toward the stronger end of its ND2–32 range to reduce incoming light and allow a slower shutter. Then use the CPL function to manage glare from the water as you compose. That pairing gives you control over two common distractions in the same scene. One limit to keep in mind: ND32 is the strongest setting indicated by the name, so this isn’t a solution for light reduction beyond that range.
