VAXIS Noga Arm 11'' 3/8
VAXIS Noga Arm 11'' 3/8 | Position a microphone where you need it
Bring a microphone closer to the person speaking, and keep its position considered rather than letting it dictate the setup. The VAXIS Noga Arm 11'' 3/8 is an 11-inch arm with a 3/8 connection, intended for microphone-accessory setups where a short reach is enough. It suits creators, interviewers and anyone arranging a microphone at a desk or speaking position. Its practical appeal is that it gives you an arm between the microphone and its mounting point, so you can plan the placement around the speaker. The 3/8 connection is the key detail to match to your setup; the product name alone doesn’t establish which microphones or supports it fits. Think of this as a focused positioning aid for nearby placement, rather than a way to span a large gap. If your microphone needs to sit within that short reach, this is a straightforward option to consider.
Specialist Note
The 11-inch length gives this arm a defined, close-in reach, which can help keep a microphone near a speaker without building the setup around a long extension. For desk recording, position it so the mic is close to your speaking position; for a seated interview, use that same short reach to bring the mic towards the person being recorded. I’d pay particular attention to the 3/8 connection before planning the rig: it needs to match the point you’re attaching it to. This suits setups where the microphone only needs to move a modest distance. Its honest limitation is just that: 11 inches won’t bridge a wide gap.
