VAXIS SDI Cable-BNC To BNC 39''
VAXIS SDI Cable-BNC To BNC 39'' | A short BNC link for SDI connections
Its 39-inch length makes this VAXIS SDI cable a short link for setups where the connected equipment is close together. It suits camera operators and video crews who need to connect an SDI output to an SDI input using BNC connections, without routing a longer cable across the workspace. Use it between nearby SDI equipment, such as a camera and monitor, or between an SDI source and a display. The BNC connector at each end gives you the matching connection for that signal path; this is a specific cable, rather than a general-purpose audio lead. Keep the equipment within reach of the cable when arranging your setup. Its compact length can help avoid having extra cable to manage, but it also limits how far apart the connected devices can sit. For a close, direct SDI connection, that’s the point.
For a tidy rig, plan the position of both devices first, then route the cable between their BNC connections without stretching it. The short reach is most useful when the two pieces of equipment sit together; it’s less suited to a setup that needs a long run between camera and display. Choose it for the connection length you need, rather than expecting one cable to cover every layout.
Specialist Note
39 inches gives you a short run between nearby devices, which is handy when a camera and monitor are mounted close together. The BNC-to-BNC ends mean you can make that link between matching BNC connections; I’d use it to connect an SDI output directly to an SDI input, keeping the cable route simple. It suits a compact camera rig or a close-set video source and display. One practical limit: that length won’t give you much freedom to position equipment far apart, so measure the route around your rig before settling on its layout. For a nearby SDI connection, it keeps things straightforward.
