Verbatim Store ´N´ Save 3.5\ (8.89cm) Gen 2 6TB USB 3.0

Verbatim Store 'N' Save 3.5" (8.89 cm) Gen 2 6TB USB 3.0 | Room for a growing file library

When photo and video folders keep growing, deciding what to keep close at hand can become a chore. The Verbatim Store 'N' Save is an external hard drive with 6TB of capacity, giving you a place to store a sizeable collection of files away from your computer’s main storage. It suits photographers, small studios and home users who want to keep an organised library of images, footage and other files. Its 3.5-inch size and USB 3.0 connection are part of the product’s straightforward appeal: it’s a desktop-style drive for building a dedicated store of data, rather than a tiny device to carry in a pocket. The honest point is that a large drive still benefits from a little housekeeping. Give folders clear names and you’ll spend less time hunting through old shoots later.

A practical home for your files

For a photography archive, you might sort folders by year, project or client, then keep finished work together with the material you want to retain. That makes it easier to find a particular shoot without relying on memory or leaving every file in one long list. The same approach works for video projects and personal documents; decide on a folder structure that makes sense to you and stick with it.

One drive can make a large collection easier to manage, but storage and backup are different jobs. If a set of photographs matters to you, keep another copy somewhere separate as well. This drive gives you room to organise files; it can’t make the decisions about what to save or replace a second copy. For anyone whose main frustration is a crowded computer and a scattered file library, it’s a simple place to start bringing things together.
