Westcott Float Wall Mount Light Stand Hanger Kit By Lindsay

Westcott Float Wall Mount Light Stand Hanger Kit By Lindsay | Hang light stands from a wall

Wall mounting is the defining choice here: the Float is a hanger kit for keeping light stands on a wall rather than using another freestanding stand. That makes its role clear. It’s a storage accessory for photographers or studios that want a wall-based place for their light stands between shoots. The name also makes clear that this is a kit, not a light stand itself. If you’re organising a lighting area and want the stands hung up, that’s the job this product is intended to do. I’d think of it as a practical part of the studio setup, rather than something that changes how a light performs. Its appeal is specific: it gives light-stand storage a dedicated wall-mounted format. The product is named as a Westcott Float kit by Lindsay, so that full name is useful when you’re looking for this particular hanger.

A focused storage accessory

Light stands are the subject here, and wall mounting is the point. This isn’t a general-purpose shelf or a replacement for a stand used to position a light; it’s a hanger kit described for light stands. That makes it a straightforward option to consider when you want your storage arrangement to use a wall. The honest appeal is its narrow brief: it’s for hanging light stands, not for adding another piece of lighting equipment to a shoot. If that’s what you need, the name tells you what kind of accessory you’re looking at without dressing it up as something more. You can decide whether a wall-mounted hanger suits your space and working habits; the product’s stated purpose stays simple.
