Wooden Camera A00358 Top Plate - Front Alexa 35
Wooden Camera A00358 Top Plate - Front Alexa 35 | For Alexa 35 front builds
Without a part identified for a specific camera position, it’s easier for a build list to become vague. The Wooden Camera A00358 is a tripod accessory named as a top plate for the front of the Alexa 35. That clear description makes it relevant to camera departments and operators sourcing a particular part for an Alexa 35 setup, rather than looking for a general support accessory. Its strongest use is straightforward identification: the product name and A00358 code give you a specific reference for planning and discussing the part. If you’re sorting equipment for a build, use that full reference in your notes so the intended item is clear to everyone involved. The description is focused, too; this is a named accessory, not a complete tripod or camera-support system. For a setup that calls for this particular front top plate, that specificity is useful.
Specialist Note
On an Alexa 35 prep sheet, I’d write “A00358” beside the front top-plate entry; that gives the camera team a precise reference when they’re discussing the build. The name also tells you the intended camera system and position, which is helpful when a kit list has several support parts to track. As a tripod accessory, it belongs in the support-planning conversation, so I’d include it in the same notes as the relevant camera setup rather than treating it as a standalone support solution. It suits crews sourcing this specific Alexa 35 part. My honest advice is to keep the brief narrow: this is a named top plate, not a description of a whole rig.
