Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount (Canon C70)
Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount (Canon C70) | Match Gold Mount power to your C70 rig
When you’re building a Canon C70 rig around Gold Mount batteries, this is the adapter to consider for that specific pairing. The Wooden Camera Battery Slide Pro Gold Mount is named for the two parts of the setup it brings together: a Gold Mount battery arrangement and the Canon C70. That makes it relevant to camera operators and crew who want their C70 build to fit into a Gold Mount-based power setup, rather than choosing an adapter for a different camera system. Its value is in having a clearly defined role in a rig: supporting a C70 configuration planned around Gold Mount. It’s a specialist accessory, not a general-purpose power solution, so it makes the most sense when those are already the choices in your build. If you’re putting together a C70 rig from the ground up, it gives you a specific adapter to investigate as part of that power plan.
Specialist Note
Sorting out the battery system for a Canon C70 rig can become a detour; this product is aimed squarely at the Gold Mount route. I’d consider it when the camera build is already planned around Gold Mount batteries, so the power choice stays consistent across the setup. The C70 name matters here: this isn’t presented as a general adapter for any camera. For a location setup or a fixed interview rig, it’s a focused part of a C70-and-Gold-Mount plan rather than a reason to change the rest of your equipment. Its appeal is also its limit: it suits that pairing, so it won’t help if your build uses a different camera system or battery mount.
