Wooden Camera Unified DSLR Cage (Lens Adapter Support Posts Only) | Dedicated support for a lens adapter

Wooden Camera Unified DSLR Cage (Lens Adapter Support Posts Only) is a set of support posts intended for a lens adapter in a Unified DSLR Cage setup. It’s for filmmakers and camera operators who already have that cage in their rig and need this specific part of the adapter-support arrangement. The key detail is “posts only”: this is a focused component, not a complete cage or a general-purpose adapter listing. That makes it most relevant when you’re putting together or maintaining a Unified DSLR Cage setup around a lens adapter, rather than shopping for a whole camera rig. The name identifies the intended system and job, so it’s a straightforward option when those are exactly what you need. If you’re assembling a setup from scratch, plan for the cage and lens adapter as separate parts of the broader arrangement; these posts address only the support role. That distinction is worth keeping in mind before you add it to your rig.

Specialist Note

In a rig built around a Unified DSLR Cage, these posts keep the job specific: supporting a lens adapter, rather than adding another general-purpose part. I’d point them out to someone who already has that cage in their setup and wants the adapter support component, especially for a DSLR filming setup using a lens adapter. The “posts only” wording is the practical detail here; it means you should treat this as one part of the arrangement, not a ready-to-use cage package. It’s also a sensible fit when replacing or completing that particular support setup. I wouldn’t choose it as a starting point if what you need is the whole cage.
