Yongnuo LED Lamp Yongnuo YNRAY180 - WB (5600 K)

Yongnuo LED Lamp Yongnuo YNRAY180 - WB (5600 K) | A clear daylight-balanced light source

When the available light shifts as you work, judging exposure and colour can become a moving target. The Yongnuo YNRAY180 - WB is an LED lamp for continuous lighting, with a stated white-balance value of 5600 K. Because the light stays on while you work, you can see its effect on a subject and adjust your camera position or the scene as you go. That makes it relevant for photographers and video makers who want a constant light source for a set-up they can watch in real time. It’s a straightforward option to consider for portraits, tabletop scenes or filmed pieces where you’re arranging the light yourself. The key point is its stated 5600 K balance; the product name doesn’t tell us how much output or control it offers, so I’d choose it for that known detail rather than assume extras.

Working with continuous light

A continuous lamp can make a lighting set-up easier to read: move it, soften or redirect the light with your chosen set-up, and see the change before you shoot. That’s helpful when a small shift in position changes the shadows on a face or the reflections on an object. It also suits a gradual working pace, since you can make adjustments while looking at the scene instead of relying on a flash of light to assess the result.

The 5600 K value gives you a specific reference when setting white balance and considering other light sources in the scene. For more consistent colour, keep the lighting conditions deliberate and set your camera’s white balance to suit the light you’re using. If you mix sources with different colour temperatures, the result can vary across the frame; that’s a normal part of planning a mixed-light scene, not something the lamp’s name can resolve for you. In short, this Yongnuo is best considered when a continuous LED lamp with a stated 5600 K white-balance value fits the way you want to light.
