Zhiyun Molus B100 - LED COB Light w/ Eur Plug

Zhiyun Molus B100 - LED COB Light w/ Eur Plug | A dedicated COB light with a European plug

Without a dedicated light, you’re relying on whatever illumination happens to be in the room. The Zhiyun Molus B100 is an LED COB light for photographers and content makers who want a separate light source for studio work. Its defining details are right in the name: it’s a COB LED light, and it comes with a Eur plug. That makes it a straightforward option to consider when you’re putting together a lighting setup and need a light rather than another camera accessory. It’s best suited to people who already know they want this kind of light and have a place for it in their working setup. There’s no need to read more into the title than that; the practical value is having a dedicated light source, with the plug type specified.

Planning a place for the light

Before adding a light to your studio, think through where it will sit and what you want it to illuminate. The subject, background and other light in the room all affect the result, so a little planning can save time once you start shooting. Also consider where the nearest power point is in relation to your intended position; the Eur plug is part of this product’s name, but placement still matters in any setup. If you’re building a small studio gradually, this is the sort of purchase to make with a specific job in mind. Decide what you want to light first, then judge whether a dedicated COB light fits that plan. That’s a more useful starting point than buying based on assumptions about output or extra functions.
