Zhiyun Molus X200 Bi-Colour Standard - LED COB Light w/ Eur Plug
Zhiyun Molus X200 Bi-Colour Standard - LED COB Light w/ Eur Plug | A dedicated light for considered setups
When a desk-side interview needs more deliberate light than a ceiling fixture can give, the Zhiyun Molus X200 Bi-Colour Standard gives you a dedicated LED COB source to place in your setup. It’s suited to content creators, small studios and photographers who want a lighting option for talking-head videos, tabletop product clips or portraits at home. The bi-colour design lets you adjust the light’s tone to sit more comfortably with the room’s existing light or the look you’re after. Its COB LED format identifies it as a purpose-built light, rather than a general tripod add-on. This Standard version is specified with a European plug, and the product is listed as a tripod accessory. It’s a straightforward starting point when you want to shape a scene with a separate light source instead of relying entirely on available room light.
Specialist Note
For a talking-head setup, the Molus X200 gives you a dedicated key light instead of the guesswork of aiming a household lamp. I’d position it to one side of the camera and angle it toward the subject; that gives you a more intentional direction to the light. The bi-colour feature is useful when the room light has a noticeably warm or cool cast, so you can adjust the X200’s tone to suit the scene. Its COB LED design makes it a purpose-built source for this job. It suits home video makers and small content teams. Just remember that one light can leave the far side of a face in shadow, so plan some fill if you want a more even look.
