Zilverstad Sweet Memory Glanzend Passe Partout 20x30

Zilverstad Sweet Memory Glanzend Passe Partout 20x30 | A polished frame for a favourite photo

Without a frame, a photo can end up tucked away instead of being seen. The Zilverstad Sweet Memory Glanzend Passe Partout 20x30 is a photo frame for giving a chosen image a more considered place in your home. Its name points to a glossy finish and a passe-partout, with 20x30 as the stated format. It suits someone choosing a frame for a particular photograph or print, rather than looking for a general-purpose display solution. I’d start by choosing the image first, then deciding where you want it to catch the eye; that makes it easier to judge whether this format belongs in the space you have in mind. The honest point is that a frame can’t make a weak image stronger. It can, though, help mark a photograph as one you want to keep looking at.

A considered way to display a photograph

Think about the picture itself before settling on a place for it. A portrait, a holiday scene or a family photograph each asks for a slightly different kind of attention, so take a moment to see how the image feels when it’s given a place of its own. If you’re choosing a frame as a gift, it may help to have a particular photo in mind too; that gives the choice a personal reason, rather than leaving the recipient with a frame and no clear picture for it. Keep the surrounding display simple if you want the photograph to do the talking. Or pair it with other personal objects if you’re building a more lived-in corner. Either way, the useful first step is deciding what you want to see when you pass by.
