3 Legged Thing Axis 44 Padded Neck Shoulder Strap Moondust
3 Legged Thing Axis 44 Padded Neck Shoulder Strap Moondust | A softer way to carry your camera
Carrying a camera on a narrow strap can leave it pressing uncomfortably against your neck or shoulder. The 3 Legged Thing Axis 44 is a padded neck-and-shoulder camera strap for photographers who prefer to keep a camera close at hand rather than put it away between moments. The padding gives the strap a softer contact point, which is most useful on everyday walks, during street photography or when you’re moving between locations. Moondust gives it a muted, distinctive look without drawing too much attention away from your camera. This is a straightforward option for anyone who wants a more comfortable way to carry a camera on the neck or shoulder. Its appeal is simple: padding at the point of contact, in a strap made for carrying rather than storage. If that’s the part of camera carrying you find tiring, the Axis 44 addresses it directly.
Specialist Note
On a one-camera walk through town, I’d wear the Axis 44 over my shoulder when I want the camera within reach for quick street pictures. The padded section matters when the strap rests against you for a while: it gives that contact point a softer feel than a plain, narrow strap. You can also wear it around your neck for an unhurried stroll, keeping your camera ready without holding it continuously. I like the Moondust colour for a low-key look. One practical limit: a neck-or-shoulder strap is for carrying the camera, not for putting it out of sight when you want both hands free for longer.
