3 Legged Thing Axis 44 Padded Neck Shoulder Strap Obsidian
3 Legged Thing Axis 44 Padded Neck Shoulder Strap Obsidian | Padded carry for hands-free camera days
A camera carried in your hand can get tiring, while a strap that presses on one small spot may become distracting over a longer day. The 3 Legged Thing Axis 44 is a padded neck and shoulder camera strap, offering another way to carry your camera while keeping your hands free between shots. Its padding adds a softer layer where the strap meets you, which can make routine carrying feel less harsh than a narrow, unpadded strap. The Obsidian finish keeps the look dark and understated. Axis 44 suits photographers who prefer a conventional neck-or-shoulder carry for city walks, events or everyday outings, and want padding as part of that setup. It’s a straightforward camera-carry accessory, rather than a bag or a camera support system.
Specialist Note
For a camera I carry between two stops on an ordinary day, the Axis 44’s neck-and-shoulder format is the sort I’d consider. The padding gives you a softer contact point while the camera hangs between pictures, rather than a bare strap against you. That makes sense for someone walking through a market or moving around an event: let the camera rest on your shoulder, then bring it up when a moment appears. I also like the understated Obsidian finish. One honest consideration: neck-and-shoulder carry isn’t everyone’s preferred feel, so that style of carrying is the deciding factor.
