3 Legged Thing Pivot 150mm Magic Accessory Arm Darkness (Matte Black)
3 Legged Thing Pivot 150mm Magic Accessory Arm Darkness (Matte Black) | Compact positioning for tripod accessories
When an accessory needs to sit a little away from the main tripod setup, a short arm can help place it without making the arrangement feel oversized. The 3 Legged Thing Pivot 150mm Magic Accessory Arm in Darkness is a tripod accessory designed to give you that extra positioning reach. It suits photographers and videographers who already use a tripod and want a compact way to position an accessory in relation to it. The 150mm length gives you a defined, modest offset rather than a long reach, so it makes most sense in close, tidy setups where a small change in position is enough. Darkness is the matte-black version, with a restrained finish alongside dark support gear. Think of it as a space-saving accessory arm, not a solution for reaching far beyond the tripod.
Specialist Note
The 150mm length is the detail I’d focus on first: it gives you a modest offset when an accessory needs a place beside the tripod setup. For a close video arrangement, position it where the accessory needs to sit, then keep the rest of the setup compact. It can also help in a stills setup where space around the tripod is limited. The matte-black Darkness finish is visually discreet beside dark support gear. One honest point: 150mm is limited reach, so it won’t suit a setup that needs an accessory positioned a long way from the tripod. If a compact extension is what you need, that short reach is the appeal.
