7Artisans 55mm Ulr Mrcuv Filter
7Artisans 55mm Ulr Mrcuv Filter | UV filtration for 55mm lenses
For outdoor scenes where you want UV filtration at the lens, the 7Artisans 55mm Ulr Mrcuv Filter is a simple, direct option. It’s a 55mm UV filter, suited to photographers whose lens takes a 55mm filter and who want this type of filtration in front of the camera. You can use it when photographing open landscapes or working around town in daylight; the filter’s role is to filter ultraviolet light before it reaches the camera. The key thing to get right is the filter size: match 55mm to the size marked for your lens. This is a specific-purpose filter rather than a way to change perspective or depth of field. If UV filtration is what you need, its appeal is that the job happens at the lens, as you make the photograph, rather than becoming another step in your editing routine.
Specialist Note
This filter puts UV filtration at the lens, where it can act as you take the picture. I’d consider it for daylight landscapes or city scenes if UV filtering is part of how you want to work; just make sure your lens takes a 55mm filter. That 55mm size is the practical detail that determines whether it fits, while the UV designation tells you the filter’s purpose. It’s a focused accessory, not a creative-effect filter, so I’d choose it for that specific job rather than expecting it to change the look of a scene in several different ways. For the right lens, it keeps the setup straightforward.
