7Artisans AF35mm f/1.4 - APS-C - Fuji FX Mount | A bright prime for street and travel

For street scenes and travel portraits, this lens can make a subject feel distinct from its surroundings, even when the light is fading. The 7Artisans AF35mm f/1.4 is a standard prime for Fuji X mount cameras with APS-C sensors, combining a 35mm focal length with a maximum aperture of f/1.4. That wide aperture gives you room to work in dimmer conditions and to soften the background when you want attention on a person or detail. Autofocus makes it practical for changing scenes, where there may not be time to focus manually. On a Fujifilm X body, the framing suits everyday subjects without feeling as wide as a dedicated wide-angle lens. It’s a focused option for photographers who want one bright, straightforward lens for exploring streets and bringing home travel images with a clear subject.

Specialist Note

The f/1.4 maximum aperture gives you a useful bit of breathing room when evening light drops; open it up for a street portrait, then choose a shutter speed around 1/250 sec if your subject is moving. On a Fujifilm X APS-C body, 35mm frames like roughly 52.5mm on full frame, so expect a natural, fairly composed view rather than a broad sweep. That makes it a good fit for travel details and people across a street; autofocus helps you respond as the moment changes. One thing to bear in mind: the framing can feel tight in a narrow interior, so you may need to step back to include more of the scene.
