7Artisans Infinte 24mm T2.1 FullFrame DE-Clicked PL Mount

7Artisans Infinte 24mm T2.1 FullFrame DE-Clicked PL Mount | A wide view for considered filmmaking

Wide shots can feel cramped when a scene needs to show both its subject and the space around it. This 24mm prime gives filmmakers a broad perspective on a full-frame sensor, with an estimated 84° angle of view to help keep more of the setting in frame. Its PL mount suits a PL-mount camera setup, and the manual focus design puts focusing under your control. For video work, the de-clicked aperture lets you adjust exposure without stepped clicks, which is useful when light changes during a take. This lens is best suited to filmmakers building a controlled, manual setup for interiors, establishing shots or environmental portraits. It offers a straightforward way to frame wider scenes without switching to a zoom, while keeping the image-making decisions in the operator’s hands.

For deliberate, hands-on shooting

A prime lens encourages you to choose a viewpoint and compose around it. That can be a good fit for planned scenes, where camera position and focus are part of the visual design. The wide perspective can also help show a subject in context rather than isolating them from their surroundings.
