ACT 10m HQ Audio Connection Cable 3.5mm Stereo Jack Male

ACT 10m HQ Audio Connection Cable 3.5mm Stereo Jack Male | Long-reach connection for audio setups

Get more room to position your audio equipment without keeping it right beside the connection point. The ACT 10m HQ Audio Connection Cable is a cable for making an audio connection, with a 3.5mm stereo jack male connector and a 10-metre length. That reach can help when the devices you want to connect aren’t close together, or when a shorter cable would have to cross the space awkwardly. It suits anyone putting together an audio setup that uses a matching 3.5mm stereo jack connection and needs more distance between the connection points. The useful detail here is straightforward: it gives you a long cable run in a familiar connector size. Ten metres is a generous length, though it does mean you’ll want to think about where the cable will lie. This is a practical option when reach is the main problem to solve.

Planning the cable run

Before you set things in place, work out the route the cable needs to take. Measure along that route rather than just estimating the gap between the two devices; a cable often needs to follow a wall, desk edge or other path around the room. Leave enough slack for the layout you have in mind, and keep the run out of walkways where you can. The cable’s named connector is a male 3.5mm stereo jack, so it’s intended for an audio connection that accepts that plug. If your setup calls for a different connector at the connection point, this is not the match to choose. The 10-metre reach is the point of this model, but a long cable can take a little planning to keep tidy. That’s a small trade-off for having more freedom with placement.
