ACT 2m DisplayPort 1.4 8K Connection Cable M-M Zip Bag | Direct 8K DisplayPort connection over 2 metres

ACT 2m DisplayPort 1.4 8K Connection Cable M-M Zip Bag is a 2 m DisplayPort 1.4 cable for 8K connections. It’s built for anyone connecting two devices with DisplayPort sockets, such as a computer and a display, and who wants a cable of a known length rather than an adapter chain. The male-to-male ends are the straightforward option when both connection points accept DisplayPort; they don’t convert another socket type. Its 8K designation makes it relevant to high-resolution display setups, while DisplayPort 1.4 identifies the interface. At 2 m, there’s some room to position a display away from its source without choosing a longer cable run. The zip-bag format suits a desk setup or a replacement cable when you already know which ports you need. It’s a focused product: the key is matching the cable’s ends and length to your arrangement.

Specialist Note

A direct cable connection keeps setup simple: connect the two DisplayPort ends and you’re ready to use the link. The 2 m length gives you a little flexibility in where the display sits, while still keeping the run manageable around a desk. I’d consider it for a computer-to-display connection where both devices have DisplayPort sockets and you want an 8K-rated cable between them. The male-to-male ends make the connection clear, but they also define the limit: this cable won’t adapt between different connector types. If your setup calls for DisplayPort at both ends, its stated 8K capability and 1.4 interface make its purpose easy to identify.
