ACT 70 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male

ACT 70 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male | A long HDMI run in one cable

Getting an HDMI connection across a large room or a long installation can be awkward when the screen and source need to sit far apart. This ACT cable gives you a 70-metre route, using active optical construction and an HDMI-A male connector. It’s a cable for planned long-distance HDMI runs, including setups marked for 4K and HDMI 2.0. That reach is the main reason to consider it: you can plan for a distant screen without joining several shorter cables together. The honest point is that a 70-metre cable needs some thought before installation; its length is helpful only if the route and the connector ends suit your setup. If you’re working out a fixed connection between equipment at a distance, this model puts the key details—length, HDMI type and 4K designation—right in its name.

Plan the route before you install

Start by working out where the cable needs to go, then measure the actual path rather than the straight-line distance between your equipment. Allow for the route around furniture, along a wall or through an installation space. That gives you a practical way to judge whether 70 metres is appropriate for your layout, instead of relying on an estimate. It’s also sensible to identify the connection points at both ends before routing the cable. This model has HDMI-A male connectors, so check that the ports you intend to use accept that connector. These simple checks help you decide whether the cable suits the job before you begin laying it in place. Its stated 4K and HDMI 2.0 details can also help you compare it with the requirements of your planned HDMI setup.
