ACT HDMI To DP Adapter 4K@60Hz | Connect HDMI to DisplayPort

Connect an HDMI output to a DisplayPort input and view a picture at up to 4K resolution and 60Hz. The ACT HDMI To DP Adapter 4K@60Hz is for that specific connection direction: HDMI to DP. It suits a setup where the source has an HDMI connection and the display has a DisplayPort connection, and you need an adapter between them. The 4K@60Hz figure gives you a clear target when matching the adapter to your display setup. One detail to keep in mind is the direction: this product is named HDMI to DP, so it’s for sending from HDMI towards DisplayPort, not the reverse. If those are the ports you need to join, this adapter is a straightforward option to consider.

Check the connection direction

When choosing an adapter, start by identifying the port on each end of your setup. The ACT’s name describes the direction from HDMI to DisplayPort; matching that direction is just as important as matching the connector shape. An HDMI output on the source and a DisplayPort input on the display are the arrangement this product is intended for. If your setup runs the other way, this isn’t the direction described by the product name. That simple check can help you avoid choosing an adapter based only on the fact that both connector types appear in your setup.

The resolution and refresh-rate figure is also useful when you’re comparing options for a display setup: this model is identified as 4K at 60Hz. Keep that figure in mind alongside the HDMI-to-DP direction when deciding whether it matches what you need. This description is deliberately limited to those stated details, rather than making assumptions about other equipment or functions.
