ACT USB 3.0 10GBPS 60W USB-C (Up/Down Angled) To USB-C (Up/Down Angled) 0.5M

ACT USB 3.0 10GBPS 60W USB-C (Up/Down Angled) To USB-C (Up/Down Angled) 0.5M | 10Gbps data and 60W power in a short angled link

The defining choice is the angled USB-C plug at each end: the direction the cable leaves the connector matters on both sides. That makes this a good fit when you want a short link between nearby USB-C connections and need to pay attention to how the plugs sit. It’s 0.5 metres long, so think close-up connections rather than a cable run across a room. The stated data rate is 10Gbps, and the cable is rated for 60W power. Those figures make it suited to a setup where both data transfer and power are part of the job. The practical detail to get right is the up/down orientation at each end; both plugs are angled, but the title doesn’t specify which direction suits a particular device layout.

Choosing the right length and angle

With angled connectors on both ends, this cable is for people who have a reason to consider connector orientation, rather than simply reaching for a straight-ended lead. The up/down angle is part of the product’s design, so allow for the cable’s exit direction at both connected points when planning where it will sit. The half-metre length keeps the intended connection close. If the devices need more distance between them, this won’t be the right length for that arrangement. Its 10Gbps data rating and 60W power rating describe two different parts of its use: data transfer and power. Choose it when those stated figures and the angled USB-C ends suit the connection you have in mind. It’s a very specific cable, and that short length is a real limit if you need extra reach.
