ACT USB Booster 5METER | USB reach over five metres

ACT USB Booster 5METER is a USB cable with a stated length of five metres, for setups where the connection needs to span more than a short distance. It’s suited to anyone arranging USB equipment with some space between the connection points. The practical benefit is straightforward: five metres gives you room to plan a longer cable route rather than placing everything close together. That can make positioning easier around a desk or workspace, provided the cable route and your equipment suit a USB connection. The product name identifies it as a booster, but doesn’t tell us its performance details, so I wouldn’t make claims about speed or power. If distance is your main concern, the length is the useful detail to start with. Measure the route you have in mind, including any bends, so you can judge whether five metres gives you enough reach.
