ACT USB-C Docking Station 4K For 2 HDMI Monitors Displaylink Compact Model | Make room for a two-screen desk

A single screen can feel cramped when you’re sorting photographs in one window and working in another. This ACT USB-C docking station is made for a desk setup with two HDMI monitors, giving you space to keep those tasks visible side by side. It uses DisplayLink and is identified as a 4K model, so it’s aimed at people who want a higher-resolution display in their workstation as well as room for a second screen. The compact model name suits a tidier desk setup, though the main reason to choose it is its support for two HDMI monitors. It’s a practical fit for photographers and other computer users who spend time reviewing, organising or editing images at a desk. If you usually work on just one screen, much of the point of this dock may go unused.

Specialist Note

At a two-screen photo desk, I’d put the image view on one HDMI monitor and folders or editing controls on the other. This dock is made for that two-monitor arrangement, so you can keep both parts of the job in view instead of constantly switching windows. The 4K designation is useful when you want a detailed image view; connect a 4K monitor for that screen, without assuming the title promises 4K on both displays at once. Its USB-C connection makes it relevant to a workstation built around USB-C, and DisplayLink is the named display technology. I’d recommend it to someone who genuinely uses two screens. If one monitor is enough, this is more dock than you need.
