The B+W Basic CPL MRC 43 is a circular polarizing filter, intended for a lens with a 43 mm filter size. Turn its front ring while looking through the viewfinder or at the screen to vary the effect. It can reduce reflections from surfaces such as water or glass, and can make a blue sky look deeper when the sun is at a suitable angle. That makes it relevant for landscape work, travel and everyday scenes with unwanted shine. The effect depends on your position relative to the light, so it won't remove every reflection or make every sky darker. For a natural result, rotate gradually and stop when the change looks right rather than assuming maximum effect is best.

The turning front ring is what makes this CPL practical: you can watch the reflections change and settle on the amount that suits the scene. I’d use it over water or a shop window, rotating the ring until the reflected surface gives way to more detail.
