B&W Outdoor.cases Type 5500 Black / Empty

B&W Outdoor.cases Type 5500 Black / Empty | Hard-case protection for transport and storage

Loose gear in a soft bag can be exposed to knocks and dust when it’s stored or moved; the B&W Outdoor.cases Type 5500 gives you a hard case for those jobs. It’s suited to photographers and other equipment owners who need a protective outer case for transport or storage, particularly when rain, dust or bumps are a concern. The case is supplied empty, so it doesn’t come with a ready-arranged place for a particular kit. That makes it a practical starting point if you already know how you want to organise what goes inside. Use it to contain gear between shoots, or to keep equipment together in storage rather than leaving it loose. It’s a straightforward option when an outer hard case matters more than having a pre-set interior layout.

Planning your packing

Because this Type 5500 is empty, decide how you’ll arrange and keep your gear in place before relying on it for transport. That’s useful if your kit changes over time, but less convenient if you want a case that arrives already organised around specific equipment. Think about what you’ll carry most often and how you want to access it; that helps you make the space work for your routine.
