Benro Video Tripod Kit A1883FS2PRO

Benro Video Tripod Kit A1883FS2PRO: Keep video moves smooth on location

A level horizon matters when you’re panning across a mountain view, but uneven ground can make setting up a video tripod frustrating. The Benro Video Tripod Kit A1883FS2PRO is an aluminium travel tripod weighing 2.13kg, supplied with a fluid S2PRO video head for controlled camera movement. Its compact folding design suits photographers and videographers who carry their support between locations, while the head’s pan and tilt movements are made for steady video. The centre column has a levelling adapter, so you can align the head independently of the tripod legs; that’s useful when the ground slopes or you need a clean horizontal pan. For still photography, set it up for landscapes, long exposures, or night and astro work, where a steady support matters during extended exposures. For video, the sliding quick-release plate allows camera position to be adjusted for balance, and a safety lock keeps the plate secured. The head is removable, and one tripod leg can be joined to the centre column to form a video monopod. That flexibility makes this a travel kit with more than one useful setup, rather than a tripod that only serves one shooting style.

Stability and setup

• Aluminium construction: The legs provide a sturdy support platform, while the kit’s 2.13kg weight remains manageable to carry between locations.
• Flip-latch leg locks: Open or secure the leg sections with the clip-style locks when setting up or packing away. The fast adjustment is handy when light is fading.
• Legs fold back for travel: The reversible folding design keeps the tripod compact when packed, so it takes up less space alongside your camera kit.
• Independent head levelling: A levelling adapter in the centre column lets you straighten the head without changing the tripod’s leg positions. That’s especially helpful for keeping a video pan level on uneven ground.
• Detachable S2PRO head: The flat-base video head can be removed from the tripod. This gives you another way to use the head with compatible support equipment.
• Sliding quick-release plate: Move the plate forward or back to balance the camera on the head. Its safety lock keeps the plate from slipping out during mounting or removal.
• Tripod-to-monopod conversion: One leg unscrews and attaches to the centre column to make a video monopod. It’s a useful alternative when a full tripod is awkward to position.
