Boya Microphone Studio Arm BY-BA20 | Keep your microphone in speaking position

Bring a microphone into speaking position for a podcast, stream or voice-over, with your hands free for notes and controls. The Boya Microphone Studio Arm BY-BA20 is an arm accessory for setting up a microphone at a desk or recording station. Its role is straightforward: support the microphone near the speaker so you can talk without holding it throughout a take. That can suit solo presenters, home voice recording and anyone who speaks while working at a keyboard or mixer. The product name identifies it as a Boya microphone studio arm, model BY-BA20. Choose it when you want an arm as part of your microphone setup; it’s an accessory, not a microphone or an audio interface. Place the microphone where it’s comfortable to speak, then keep that position as you record. The appeal here is a more hands-free way to work at your desk, without adding claims about features beyond the product’s stated type.

Specialist Note

The arm is the defining physical part of the BY-BA20: it gives you a way to bring a microphone to your speaking position instead of holding it. For a spoken podcast or a voice-over, set the mic in front of you before you start, then keep your attention on your script or recording controls. It’s aimed at someone building a desk-based recording setup who already has a microphone to use with an arm. I’d think of it as a positioning accessory, rather than a complete audio solution: it won’t provide the microphone or the recording equipment. That’s a simple distinction, but it helps set expectations for what this product does.
