camRade Hardcase For Portkeys BM7 II DS
camRade Hardcase For Portkeys BM7 II DS | A protective layer inside your larger bag
Its job is specific: this protective case gives the Portkeys BM7 II DS a place of its own inside a larger bag, helping guard it against scratches and bumps. It’s a sensible option for owners who need to pack the monitor with other gear and want a little separation, rather than carry it loose among items. The case is best suited to everyday packing and storage where gear may shift around in a bag. It adds a practical layer of protection, but it shouldn’t be treated as a substitute for careful handling or as a case for carrying the monitor on its own. If you already use a larger camera or production bag, this camRade pouch is a straightforward way to keep the BM7 II DS better protected within that setup. The benefit is simple: less direct contact with the rest of your kit, without changing how you carry the bag.
Specialist Note
First-time owners sometimes assume a monitor is protected just because it’s packed in a larger bag; loose gear can still rub or knock together. I’d use this camRade hardcase as a dedicated layer around the Portkeys BM7 II DS, then pack it inside the bag with the rest of your kit. Its role is protection from scratches and bumps, which makes it well suited to regular packing between work locations or keeping the monitor stored with other equipment. I like that the purpose is clear: it’s a protective pouch for the named monitor, not a promise of heavy-impact protection. For that reason, I’d still pack the larger bag with care.
